Keestrack partners with Saudi giant based on its reputation for excellence in after-sales and customer support
Saudi machinery giant General Trading & Equipment CJSC (GTE) will be the official importer of Keestrack mobile crushing and screening equipment in Saudi Arabia after the Dammam-based equipment powerhouse and Belgian materials processing multinational finalised an agreement to this effect.
GTE is one of the leading construction equipment and construction systems solution providers in the region. Established in 1976 it has over the years acquired a strong reputation on its excellence in after sales service and support to customers and has played an important role in the development of Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure and industries.
Speaking about the GTE-Keestrack partnership in the Kingdom, Mohamed Shams Elramly, General Manager at GTE, said: “The mission of GTE is to have strong relationships with its customers by providing best-in-class solutions, products and service and support. This is why GTE is happy to add Keestrack state-of-the-art crushing and screening equipment to our product portfolio.”
Frederik Hoogendoorn, CEO of Keestrack, added: “GTE is a very professional and experienced company in the construction business with excellent staff and they have the same customer focus as Keestrack has: solution oriented.”
Dammam-headquartered GTE has nine branches in Saudi Arabia, all with their own sales and aftersales support, as well as five service centres with workshops. As a company, GTE has three divisions: Construction equipment; Cleaning & industrial equipment; and Construction systems.
The sectors that the company caters for are construction, agriculture, infrastructure, mining, warehousing, facilities management, utilities, industrial factories and oil & gas.
Giovanni Bartoli, Area Sales Manager at Keestrack, said: “For Keestrack equipment, the focus in Saudi Arabia will be on quarrying and mining, but also to some extent on potential recycling business. One of the reasons GTE wanted to become a Keestrack dealer is the ability to deliver fully electric powered mobile crushing and screening equipment. The high-tech Keestrack machinery reduces the cost of ownership and gives great flexibility of drive systems and electric interconnectivity.”
Keestrack is a global specialist for mobile crushing and screening equipment in the mining and quarrying, recycling and aggregates industries. The company was one of the earliest to introduce electric drives, which it did in 2012 with its e-drive – which came with onboard diesel gensets, in case there was no electric plug-in available.
The e-driven machines evolved into equipment with a drop-off engine/genset unit which could be placed next to the equipment in less dusty and vibrant circumstances or on the frame of the machine.
