Al Masaood Power showcases latest propulsion engines and systems at Seatrade Maritime Middle East

Al Masaood Power Division, a part of Al Masaood Group, is participating in this year’s edition of Seatrade Maritime Middle East taking place from December 13-15 at the new Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo 2020 Dubai.

During the exhibition, Al Masaood Power will display at stand E700 a range of propulsion engines and systems manufactured by its global partner brands MTU, Nidec Leroy-Somer and Volvo Penta for the maritime community.

Al Masaood Power, which offers a broad range of best-in-class quality services and support, is an expert in the power and marine sectors, especially in areas of project planning for marine propulsion systems, project management, installation and commissioning, maintenance, and components, spare parts solutions, and certified training facilities.

The division holds the distinction of launching the first hybrid propulsion system commissioned in the UAE. It also supplied 20 crew and pilot boat propulsion engines as well as propulsion systems for tugboats made in the country apart from repowering an aging pilot boat fleet and delivering propulsion systems for passenger vessels built for the region. Recently, Al Masaood Power Division together with RIBCRAFT ME, successfully launched the first Hybrid RIB featuring the new technology to seamlessly switch between electric motors and Volvo Penta diesel engines, and it also provided generators for the onboard lifting equipment of a specialised vessel.
