Company shows off leading edge concepts applying electrification, digitisation and autonomy to the work site in first face-to-face customer outreach event for EMEA region in three years

Compact equipment giant Bobcat has shown off its latest products and a host of new concepts and innovations at its first first face-to-face Bobcat Demo Days event in nearly three years after the global travel disruptions caused by Covid-19.

Held at the Doosan Bobcat Campus at Dobris in the Czech Republic, the event saw the Bobcat regional hub host customers and dealers from all over the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, wiht the visitors having the opportunity to see and try out the latest Bobcat products and technology innovations before they come to market.

According to Bobcat, Demo Days 2022 “blended established products with new developments“, and attendees had the opportunity “to try out the full range of Bobcat wheeled and tracked loaders, mini-excavators, telehandlers, light compaction products and attachments in working conditions“.

Complementing these were a host of new product previews and leading edge technologies. These included previews of the MT100 Mini Track Loader and the new Grounds Maintenance Equipment range. Also shown were two concepts: the T7X – the world’s first all-electric Compact Track Loader; and Bobcat’s in-house developed Object Avoidance with Radar Sensors technology concept.

Commenting on this year’s event, Gustavo Otero, president, Doosan Bobcat EMEA, said: “After almost three years we were delighted to be able to host a live event again. It is a unique opportunity for our customers and dealers to attend Demo Days with its revolutionary concept that allows them not only to see but to try out our whole range of products.

“They also have a great opportunity to meet in person the Bobcat team members who are developing our new products and solutions, including designers, engineers and product managers. These discussions give us valuable feedback about the innovations displayed during the show, both on products and services, that allow us to continue to improve.”

Bobcat added that the Dobris Campus is a unique operation among all Doosan Bobcat facilities around the world. It is home to the company’s EMEA headquarters, the Innovation Center and the Training Center for EMEA. The site also includes one of Bobcat‘s manufacturing plants, which produces compact machines distributed not only in the EMEA market but also exported to other regions worldwide.
