A team of loaders from Bobcat have played a vital role in making possible Europe’s largest all-terrain event for two and four wheeled vehicles.

The 27th Kenny Festival, which took place last month in Reygades, France, saw an army of Bobcat compact tracked loaders (CTL), including a new T7X electric CTL, help build and maintain the various tracks and courses used for racing at the event. This also marked the first time that the T7X was used in Europe.

Festival organiser, JLFO Events, said that with the support of the local authorities and the municipality of Reygades, the 2022 edition of the Kenny Festival welcomed a large number of participants, the key to its success. More than 660 motocross riders took to the starting line, including many champions, and more than 1175 quad and motorbike riders.

As well as the T7X, the JLFO Events team utilised the Bobcat T650 and T770 compact track loaders to build and maintain the tracks for the riders.

The event was born 27 years ago and retains its original spirit based on the simple pleasure of offering courses where riders of all ages can take part. Indeed, the motocross track has been unanimously recognised as a must on which all levels of riders can express themselves. All the participants had the ‘privilege’ of accessing the circuit first in its perfectly maintained and unmarked condition and then again when it was completely reconditioned a day later.

In all, a team of 80 people were mobilised for the organisation of the event, which was attended by around 6,000 visitors over the weekend of September 10-11.

JLFO Events has unequalled expertise in the construction of off-road tracks for cars, motorbikes and quads and has total control over everything involved. Each track is built strictly for the duration of the event and includes numerous structures specific to these disciplines. JLFO Events has unique experience and a large technical capacity to build courses for all types of sporting events.

“For many years, JLFO Events has relied on Bobcat machines to build the best tracks, sometimes in the most complex conditions," explained Jean-Luc Fouchet, founding president of JFLO Events. "With our Bobcat compact track loaders, you can quickly carry out work, then stand back, look at the shape and correct it if necessary.”

In addition to Bobcat operators and machines putting on a show by taking care of the trails, there was also a stand in the heart of the accompanying All-Terrain trade show, where other market-leading Bobcat products were on show, including the very popular E10z mini-excavator.
