Agreement signed during CONEXPO in Las Vegas to enable access equipment major to provide telematics solutions to its customers via Trackunit’s web- and mobile-based platform

Access equipment major Sinoboom has entered into a telematics partnership with global IoT solutions provider Trackunit through which Sinoboom North America (NA) will offer telematics solutions to its customers via Trackunit’s web- and mobile-based platform.

Sinoboom signed the partnership agreement with Trackunit at the Sinoboom NA booth during the recently-concluded CONEXPO-CON/AGG exhibition in Las Vegas. The agreement was signed by Paul Wilson, Vice President, North America Key Accounts, on behalf of Trackunit, and by Susan Xu, CEO of Sinoboom.

A statement from Sinoboom explained that the Trackunit Raw device enables Sinoboom NA to seamlessly connect all types of machines and equipment to collect valuable data. Customers will have reliable, real-time remote visibility of their fleets, with access to machine CAN and utilisation data.

“We know that reliability of equipment is crucial for our customers to keep fleet uptime to a maximum,” said Xu, CEO of parent company Sinoboom. “The quality of the data accessible through Trackunit’s system gives customers the meaningful equipment insights they need to keep machines and fleets running smoothly and efficiently.”

Soeren Brogaard, CEO, Trackunit, commented: “We’re proud to be partnering with Sinoboom NA in offering advanced machine data to its customers. We look forward to working with Sinoboom on creating value for its customers and further connecting construction.

“It’s vindication for the partnership and our growing relationship with Sinoboom. We believe in the power of connectivity and this is part of that ongoing dynamic.”

The new partnership builds on the foundations of an existing partnership between Sinoboom’s European subsidiary and Trackunit, signed in January 2022.

Sinoboom NA said it also signed five other partnerships at CONEXPO on the same day as the signing with Trackunit. These were with Canadian customer LTR Location, with TireSocks and Wheco, and with US sales representatives Lew Hudson and East Coast Sales.
